[Thursday August 30th, 2007]
Wow it has been a ride so far! School life is now in full gear and all the guys are moved in to the house! It has been an exciting and exhausting ride so far. The house for sure is not finished, but we are constantly reminded by the Lord that just as our lives are a work in progress, so is the house…so is the community…so is our salvation. We are working it out. We are diving in deep to who we are as friends of Jesus! So we continue to press on, overlooking much of the unfinished floors and unfinished painting, and remember that hey it is okay to breathe, take a look around and remember how good God is- He has gotten us this far, and he will take us the rest of the way.. It is a journey and for us run ahead and complete it early would just devastate the things he is making beautiful in their own time.
We are continuously amazed at the love and support of the community. So many of you guys have taken this vision from the Lord and ran with it, and let it delight your soul. Praise God from whom blessings flow. We are very thankful to all of you who are praying for us, the guys, the house, the prayer room. - to all who continue to feed our bellies! We have had some great food from all over the place! May God open up the floodgates of Heaven over you and make his spirit fresh upon you!
We have also had a first open house this past friday night and it was a success! More than 75 people passed through the house! As a brotherhood we got more of an oppurtunity to hang out with one another and get to know each other a little more, and then a lot of the community, family, and friends also got another change to see what God has been up to!
As far as testimonies- keep checking back, we are working on getting some posted! All in due time! GOD HAS BEEN SO FAITHFUL!

Thank you Lord for the hands-on experience and lessons in righteousness and holiness you are bringing to those in and acquainted with Jesus House. Thank you Lord for the purity of heart you are bringing to those who seek You. Lord, may you continue to bless 311 S. Hester and those connected to it, with Your Holy Presence and with a growing depth of intimacy with You. I love you Lord, and offer the sacrifice of praise to You for what you are bringing about in the lives of all of Your children who are connected to Jesus House. Thank you for your amazing faithfulness and enduring love.
