I am stuck by the words from an old song you guys might remember: “Life is a highway, I want to ride it all night long…”
It has definately been a journey this semester and it continues to be a beautiful narrative that the Lord is unfolding! It is messy! It is not perfect all the time! But we can’t help but to think of the endless beauty of what is doing right here in our midst!! There is so much to be thankful for! So many lives that are being sharpened! So much learning. It says in scripture, that “he trains our hands for war, and our fingertips for battle!” Wow. It is so true. We are humbled that he calls our house a house of worship and prayer! People are being blessed coming in and going out! Right now our focus is really trying to figure out how to live the good news! He is all our hope and our strength! We continue to strive towards knowing Him and making Him known; inviting people into Jesus, not into a religion, not into legalism! We are out to change the world, and we feel like God is cultiating the soil this semester, doing a lot of individual work in our lives, preparing us for a release of his presence and His Kingdom.
A couple of updates. The community of Stillwater, Oklahoma has elected to move the 24-7 prayer room to the corner room of the house, which looks over the entire campus! This is an exciting time, and even as I speak we are in a place of contending together believing for a move of God in our city, on our campus! We are contending and praying for holiness and purity in coordination with Light the Highway. We are believing for Him to come like he has never come before!! I will enclose some pictures from a couple of gatherings we have had an oppurtunity to open up our house below, as well as some pictures from the prayer room!
Please contine to be in prayer for our house in the following ways: 1] We are asking the Lord for unity and one accord 2] we are asking for the bond of peace 3] we are asking for a way to transfer dicipleship in practical ways 4] please also pray for the raising up of passion ignited, God-loving warriors for the Lord. Guys who will not be mediocre, who won’t settle! We appreciate all your encouragement, your love, your support [both financially and through prayers!] We could not do it without you guys! May the Lord shine his face upon you!
